They are beautiful, bright white background. The pattern doesn’t quite line up but I think it adds to the more whimsical pattern. We used them in the kitchen for a backsplash and on the floor in the powder room. Originally the contractor grouted them white and I didn’t like that look, I like the grayish grout better. Wow. This tile is just fantastic. The proof is in the pictures. Lots of work but worth a lifetime of beauty in our home. Note: order a 25% overage. One of Six boxes was completely shattered and nothing was salvageable. We had enough to finish but it was a little tighter than I would have liked. Update: had the tiles installed for a kitchen backsplash and they look great. Photos updated! Great tiles! Ordered a sample of this tile and a few others. Took a chance and decided to go with this one for a kitchen backsplash (beige cream). So far we're very happy with the quality, color, variety, and the packaging. Ordered 10 boxes and they came shrink wrapped and tied down on a pallet, delivered by Wayfair (scheduled). I have opened each box, and haven't found a single broken one yet.
