The modern design is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a modern outdoor chair for our large fire pit that didn't require replacing every few years. Our previous plastic ones were cheap and light, so we had to stake them down. These are almost 40 lbs. each. Love that this is made of recycled milk jugs and has a 20 year warranty. There are only 10 screws to assemble and took less than 15 minute per chair by myself. The back three boards are extremely thin and bow a little when sitting in them. Wish they were a little thicker, but maybe that is why the chair is so comfortalbe to sit in. Looks awesome and ended up ordering a total of 8 of the Slate Gray!. Monica. I would rate the chair average; it is comfortable and was pretty easy to put together. However, quality control is lacking: the back of the chair is not even at the top--three slats should be level and even--this is a big eyesore to me. Additionally where the chair slats were cut, lots of cutting debri remained. Quality control should have caught all of this. I thought it would be put together with stainless steel screws; it is not and only time will tell if these will rust. The chair was not inexpensive and I would not order another.. Anita.
