Appearance is good, keeps time accurately, chime is lousy. Have turned it off and will depend on my old grandfather clock for the chime. Still looking for nearby repairman to fix old one.. (I chose to set it so it wouldn't chime after 11:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.) My husband and I had been looking for a clock like this for a long time.
