If they do, it’ll touch the plastic and not the paint. You can see a slight shine, but it just looks like it’s wet I’m hoping they hold up through the seasons ahead I know it’s an odd review, but someone else might be looking for something. I love the couch cover. It goes super good with all of my items in the sunroom. It keeps my dogs Maddy prints off of my couch and it seems thick enough to do exactly what I need. This is a white couch and I have two dogs so it’s perfect for what I need. It stays in place pretty good, which is more than I can say for some of the others that I have tried.
