Unfortunately, it didnt serve the purpose of letting my mom reach the items in the high-up kitchen cabinets, since the pull-down bar sits just above the cabinet floor (if you mount it to the cabinet base). It definitely cant be overflowing or overloaded since its moving up and down. Theres not much to be done with that, although I probably would have liked the back wall of the shelves to go up higher. This product is very high quality. The material is sturdy and it is not flimsy at all. It was very easy to install. I have a 20 year old, but still in style, KraftMaid pantry that needed updating. Items were getting lost to the back of the 23 inch deep x 36 inch wide cabinet shelves. I purchased this system to retrofit the cabinet. With a little ingenuity and about 10 to 12 hours, I have a new organization system that fits all my baking needs, and items are easy to find. I ripped the original cabinet shelves to provide multiple 10 x 36 inch shelves across the cabinet back, installed an upright to hold the swing out shelves, and attached the other shelves to the cabinet doors. The only things I might change are to make the shelves that attach to the doors 6" deep rather than 4", as the 4" limits what you can keep on the doors and change how those shelves attach to the doors. I was fighting to place the middle anchor screws given the location of my cabinet hardware and the adjustment bolts infringe on the already narrow shelf space.. Kirsten.
