Super soft surface but I ordered the light gray and was sent the dark gray and black colors instead. Wayfair tried to correct twice but the manufacturer kept sending the wrong color. Very disappointing because I really needed the light gray color and waited 5 weeks and made many phone calls to try to get it but I didn’t get it in the end.. cindy. These are the ones to get - great cushion and look great. We put them in our gym on top of a rubber floor. Did a double layer for step area! Super purchase. Only issue is the second box I ordered came with grease spots on them which was unfortunate. They’d obviously been used.
