Me and my husband put the bed together and we got it done in about an hour. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. We just put the cardboard the frame came in on top of the frame and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy and i needed that support being over 200 lbs. The bed itself is beautiful and it came out looking really nice. The delivery has much to be worked on. The boxes were extremely heavy and were left on the first level of my apartment complex. there was no options at checkout to have it delivered to Room of Choice. Then I scheduled Wayfair assembly and they went to the wrong house and left thinking I wasn't home. I had to call customer service to beg them to come back. The man who assembled it was nice and he did a good job with assembly. This item is working exactly as expected. The mattress is sitting on it. Feels sturdy. Rounded corners big plus. It took considerably longer to assemble than expected. One side rail had two bolt that screw into it and something was off with them. Took several tries and several people several attempts to get the bolts threaded. It had to be disassembled but we were able to get them in sort of kind of. And then got longer bolts to attach the headboard. But once all of that was done the product itself is just fine.. Christy.
