One side rail had two bolt that screw into it and something was off with them. Took several tries and several people several attempts to get the bolts threaded. This bed frame is absolutely gorgeous! We purchased the queen size in light gray, and the tall, substantial headboard is definitely the star of the room. It makes the entire bed feel much more expensive and elegant. The fabric is even prettier in person. It has a thick, textured knit with subtle hints of cream, blue, and gray woven throughout, which works beautifully with the colors in our room. I also love the proportions of the footboard. It’s substantial enough to give the bed a finished look, but low enough that you’re not constantly catching your hip on it when walking around the bed. The wood legs with brass feet are a beautiful finishing touch and add just the right amount of elegance. Assembly was fairly easy. It took my husband about an hour to put everything together. Love, the fact that no boxspring was needed. Sits off the floor high enough to slide things underneath for storage. Now the mattress does slide left and right a bit, so looking for some type of grip, but definitely happy with this bed. Took about an hour and 45 minutes for my husband and I to put together..
