Exactly what we were looking for in this space. It took about 4 hours from box cutting to finish, directions were easy to follow, only had to backtrack once or twice to make sense of something that could have gone 2 ways (the rails). It folds out easily for one person, there is a drawer for pillows/blankets/sheets, and we got a 6" tri-fold memory foam mattress the folds right into the cabinet spot. We ordered the bed and put it together, and we love it. It took my wife and I about 5 hours to put everything together. It came with some extra parts, just in case we screwed up. The mattress came yesterday and we slept on it last night. We're using it as a spare bed for when our daughter and son-in-law come to visit some weekends. Then when they're gone, we fold it back to a cabinet and use it to put decorations on. We've only had it two days, but love it already.. Robert. Thu Mar 19 2026

Very solid piece of furniture. Assembly directions were easy to follow. Took approximately two hours to assemble with two people. Did have to drill out a couple pre drilled holes that were blocked, but wasn’t a problem. Mattress is comfortable. Would recommend.. Elizabeth. Warrenton, VA. Fri Apr 10 2026

We love the Latitude Run products. Solid wood feel on the tops and doors and sold construction that feels like it'll last. The assembly takes some time and space as you'll assemble multiple pieces at once and them assemble those pieces together. The bed feels solid once constructed and is easy to pull out by one person. The way the doors fold over make it a nice headboard area where you can set up some tables or shelves alongside it to act as nightstands when used. The receptacle and usbs are in a handy spot for phone charging etc. The unit was a little bigger than we anticipated, a little more bulky that expected but not unreasonable considering it holds a trifold mattress in a cabinet and doesn't go flat to the wall. It does not include a mattress so add in about 200 or so for a decent trifold mattress and the price is still a solid find for a Murphy bed cabinet. The queen mattress hangs over slightly at the end of the platform, like an inch or so, not a big deal but the platform should ideally fully support the entire mattress, it would have been a bigger deal if it were at the head of the bed.. Great bed, but be patient while assembling. Take your time. Youll definitely need more than 1 person. Another reviewer said to make sure you assemble in the room you want the bed... he was right. The packages arrived beat up. Thankfully there was no damage. Regarding the bed itself, the horizontal opening seems safereasier to open for a shorter person. The only challenge is stopping midway down to unfold the feet. I also wish there were more than 5 slats under the mattress. We added a few more, ourselves. Just to make sure it had more support. Otherwise no complaints.. Barbara. New York, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026
