Instantly turn any room in your home into a comfortable sleeping space with a Murphy Bed that’s been meticulously designed and tested with your safety in mind. Our wall beds undergo rigorous in-house and independent testing in accordance with ISO 10131, a European safety standard we voluntarily follow that goes above and beyond domestic requirements to ensure safe use in any living space. The Queen Murphy Bed and Closet Organizer with Drawer and Doors (94W) is the ideal space saver for any room. Unique X pattern accents paired with Antique Bronze hardware create a relaxed and airy style that works well with coastal and farmhouse decor. The Queen Murphy bed folds up and down smoothly thanks to the dual piston system. Choose your own mattress since the bed accommodates most standard Queen mattresses (8-12 inches thick, 60-90 lb, 60 x 80 inches) and supports up to 1000 lb (including mattress). The open bed extends 92.9 inches from the wall. Allow a clearance of 30-36 inches around the open bed. The dual-mount wall bed mechanism attaches to the floor and wall for ease of assembly and maximum stability and durability. The tall cabinet features 2 fixed and 4 adjustable shelves as well as 1 drawer and 2 doors. To avoid risk of injury, the Murphy bed must be installed to wall and floor structure by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires attachment to wood studs or masonry, removal of the baseboard, and drilling into the floor (if disassembly is required, holes may be covered with baseboards 0.5 inches or thicker). All necessary hardware is included. The cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum ceiling height of 92.1 inches. Do not use this product for children or pets under 50 pounds (22.7 kg). The Murphy Bed is backed by the 10 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.
This is a great quality piece. Was not easy to put together, even with experience and the right tools. But the instructions, if followed very carefully, were solid. Definitely remove the floor trim. It’s easy and the correct way to do it. The right trim door does not close, but I knew as I was installing that this was likely. I think if you are very thorough about leveling everything along the way, using a 3’ level, you shouldn’t have a problem. But the time the frame is put together though, there’s really no going back! Still I am very satisfied.. Claire. Richmond, VA. Sun Nov 17 2024
