Ok its been 2 weeks, its very pretty picture dont do justice looks so expensive and with 2 weeks of heavy use no squeaking at all its very sturdy and so easy to put together, i had another bed for wayfair which was very steardy but very difficult to put together this one was a breeze to assemble, buy with no hesitation. It took me three and a half hour to build, granted I was building it alone as a solo female. There was a period where the screws would not screw in to assemble both parts together, it was so frustrating and because of that I was stuck in the same step for over an hour. It must’ve been the manufacturers problem since I was reading the instructions correctly and the screws just won’t go in. Absolutely love it. Great quality. Solid wood. Solid construction. The wooden slats start in the middle with dowels and then get screwed in every other slat. The only flaw I found is on the center of the board going across the headboard. Otherwise no issues. This is pictured. Sad that my pillows cover the beautiful headboard.
