After reading the comments, we decided to hire the (Wayfair) professional assembly service, which turned out to be totally worth it and the right decision. The wood used is incredibly very solid; this is a simple styl, yet very robust and durable sofa bed. We have bought too much assembly-required furniture online, mostly from overseas brands, that upon close inspection had poorly finished paint or felt light and fragile, as if it could easily break under pressure. Sturdy, but the seat sits at too much of an angle. Good product, but needs to improve on design very uncomfortable to sit in and to get in and out of. I'm 65 yrs old woman and bought this for my office. Excellent video I was able to put it together my self, but needed help lifting bed to insert seat.
