Very easy to put together, looks pretty much as pictured, seems pretty sturdy. The color is a little more red than pictured, I think. It also has some discoloration in the headboard and on the base, but not a huge deal for me. The legs are painted gold at the bottom, instead of them being metal, also no big deal. I enjoy the convenience of the outlet built into the bed. It is great for a smaller room that doesn’t have room for a nightstand. The wood tone is fairly neutral. The headboard is short so it mostly gets covered by the pillows. The thing I strongly dislike about this bed is that it is a toe buster. Theres support feet in the middle of the sides of the bed placed in a spot that I was constantly hitting my toes on it. I ordered foam “bumpers” online to save my toes which solved the problem.
