Just received this so its hard to give a decent review. It did come with a dent in the stainless steel that I'm not thrilled about, but would be less thrilled packing it back up and the hassle of a return. So far I have only made 2 recipes & the convenience was great. I don't think the sauté option is all that great, it doesn't brown like a pan. I hope I have better results with the air fry option.. P. This unit would not work. When I plugged it in the display never lit up but the unit started to get hot. I have a replacement coming and will arrive today - hopefully it works because the unit is very large and seems to have a lot of functions and Im looking forward to cooking my meals faster. Edit I got the replacement and have had no issues whatsoever. I love the large capacity of this unit and it has changed my cooking game forever. So I bought this to replace my over priced Fagor which electronically stopped working properly in first year, but the co wet out of business at the time. This Instant Pot is a great replacement! This feels much sturdier than the old pressure cooker I remember from my grandmother’s house. It has a thick bottom which will distribute heat. And the lid requires a bit of strength to pull off even without pressure, which may be useful if you have kids. It comes with an instruction book that includes dozens of common and not so common recipes. It heats well and cooks well. Note that it cooks at about 11.5 PSI.
