I love the colors of this lamp. I'm not so sure the shade is made of glass. I think it might be resin. Also the worst thing about this lamp is that the shade just spins around. It won't tighten down and I've tried and tried to tighten this thing. Nothing will work. I like the colors so much I'm willing to live with the rest of the stuff I don't like. GORGEOUS. I adore these lamps. They are so rich looking. They work with my modern look and still retain the old world look as well. They give a pretty reflection as well. I would have rated 5 stars, but the top of the lampshade finish quality on one of my two lamps had holes in the top, not filled in as they should have been, and one of the switches didn't work properly.
