The opposite side is a solid velvet-y material in a slightly warmer gray that slightly contrasts the slightly blue-ish black on the fur side. The listing is duplicitous in that it states leather and fur. I made my purchasing decision based on this thinking the back of the cushion was leather and it is polyester..
