The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. Really happy with this bookshelf. It’s sturdy and feels solid once assembled. I was able to put it together by myself without any issues, and the instructions were straightforward. The finish looks clean and modern, and it doesn’t wobble on my floors. I like that it’s tall but still slim, so it doesn’t take up much visual space. The shelves feel strong enough for decor, books, and heavier accent pieces. It looks more expensive than it is and fits nicely in a modern or neutral space. Only small note it helps to have a second person to hold pieces steady during a couple of steps, but it’s totally doable solo. I purchased the 3-shelf size, 36" H X 48" wide. It holds my entire cookbook collection and does double duty as a divider between the foyer and kitchen/dining area. Beautiful, heavy wood in the mission style. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the backing. I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. The back of this bookcase is some sort of shiny, vinyl covered panel and the color is awful. Maybe it was meant to be faux marble, but they missed by a mile. The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. I was able to modify the smaller shelves to stack them to complete the built in.
