This little gem went Way Way beyond my expectations! We re-use our grocery bags for noble purposes ... to follow along behind our Rottweiler during her many potty walks. OMG, does that require a lot of bags! We used to have a big canvas shopping bag chock-full of plastic grocery bags hanging near her leash at the front door. What an eyesore - but - I decided to give it one more try to find a dispenser large enough to store enough that I wasn't just constantly having to refill it while still having "the Mother Bag" somewhere hiding the rest. This is it!!! Holds so many that I don't have to even have a back-up somewhere. What a great tool this has become - and given that it's behind the front door, totally visible upon exiting - it has to be "elegant" rather than cheap looking & cheesy. This fills the bill! You won't be disappointed with this purchase. You can trust me on that; the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is "just me" - I don't think I've ever given anything a perfect score.. Leslie. Lovely duel chamber trash can. The lids are quiet & quick to open with the foot pedal, & they lower slowly & silently. The soft finish on the bronze exterior looks great while also being "fingerprint-free." One thing to note is that the custom fit Songmic trash bags don't fit this model as well as generic non-branded trash bags. If you want the lift handle for the removable trash can to be outside the trash bag/acessible, then using the Songmics trash bag means the lid to the trash will be left ajar. If you choose to cover the lift handle with the Songmics trash bag, then the trash can lid is left just slightly raised.
