This foundation was shipped very quickly. It was packaged nicely. I recommend two or more people to lift. It was VERY heavy. Putting it together was a breeze. Very simple. Probably best for two people though. Also I would HIGHLY recommend an electric drill to screw in the screws. There are many screws you would have to manually turn and screw in. We used our electric drill and it didn't take any time at all. This foundation is the best one I've ever had. It's built better than any of the ones I've ever gotten from a name brand store. I thought this would be helpful for supporting my box spring and mattress. I wanted to put it under one of the bed slats, but it got delivered later than I wanted it to be.
