I LOVE IT! The size is very generous and the color is gorgeous. The heat is even, just right at the level you choose. If it is medium you want, it is medium you get. He l loves it so much. It's a large blanket, much larger than a typical couch throw...which means multiple people can get under it comfortably and still remain covered. So far I've gotten under witj my 2 young kids and we were all comfortable. It is so soft! I love mink, and the berber is nice too it really just feels like a luxurious blanket through and through...and then you add the fact that it is a heated blanket with 3 different settings and it blows other blankets (even other heated blankets) out of the water! I love the 2 hour auto shut off because it helps me feel safe knowing that my son wants to sleep with it. That peace of mind is necessary, because my grandmas old heated blanket was far from safe! This one is and that's what I need. My son used to love turning on a heating pad and laying on it for cozy warmth, but now he gets this out and rolls up in it for warm, cozy, luxury. Wayfair has this listed as 100% cotton but the tag on the actual product says 90% cotton and 10% other fibers. It's a bit thin and you can see in my photos how translucent the throw is. I bought a similar product and had mom try it out. She liked the idea, but she wanted a pad that was warmer, whether it was turned on or not and so she chose the sherpa version. We both have found these heated pads to be excellent. She uses hers a lot more than I do, but when I am chilled or hurting, I just turn on my side of the bed to the level that I want and I am instantly relieved. My husband appreciates that the controls are for each side of the bed, so I can have my side heated, but he doesn't have to have his side heated. My dad had a stroke and he is always complaining about how cool the house is and this has also given him an option to warm his side if he is chilled. If you want a warm mattress pad with the added benefit of quick heat that covers head to toe, this will be a great choice. It works like a heating pad but is not limited to one spot. I have only used the first couple of settings and it gets plenty warm. If it is too hot, just turn the dial down to low. This purchase also introduced another great place for online shopping since my mom and dad are limiting the places they go.
