Exclusive bedCLAW Wood Side Rails are a great solution for replacing broken or missing wood rails. These wood rails are laminated with top-edge veneer banded faces. This process results in a wood rail which is much stronger than a solid wood rail. It is also more stable; a laminated rail will not warp or bow as a solid wood rail can. Wood bed rails provide that classic timeless beauty that the discriminating connoisseur of fine furniture demands. Whether building a new bed or restoring an older bed, wood bed rails provide beauty and warmth unmatched by any other rail system. The industry-standard hook plates incorporated into both ends of the rails will probably fit any headboard/footboard manufactured within the last 40 years. Please measure the distance from the two pins in your headboard/footboard to confirm that they are 2" apart from the center to determine that our rail hook plates will fit appropriately. The price is for a pair of side rails (one for each side of the bed). Wood Rails are sold in pairs only to ensure a correct fit. These are the same original factory rails that are supplied by many bed manufacturers. Please note, however, that the color shown may not match your frame exactly. These rails are 82 inches Long to fit Queen or King sized beds. (Will also fit Twin XL or Full XL, but not standard Twin or Full, please measure the length of your mattress). These rails are approx. 6-5/8 inches tall. An inside lip runs down the inside of each rail, allowing easy and secure attachment of center support systems. Please measure your current rails before ordering. These are for Standard Queen and King size beds, not "Sleigh" type beds. Queen and King sized "Sleigh" type beds tend to use rails that are for Standard Twin or Full sized beds. Installing these wooden side rails along with a matching steel center support not only protects your new wood rails from bowing and breaking but also prevents your mattress from sagging and protects your mattress warranty. You will sleep more comfortably knowing that your bed is sturdy and secure. Our WF Limited Lifetime Service Policy only covers manufacturing defects in wooden rails when subject to proper handling and normal use in conjunction with a center support system that provides continuous support. To provide continuous support, a Queen or King frame must have a rigid bridge bar with at least 3 support legs or 3 equally spaced hardwood cross-slats with a supporting center leg.

I recently purchased king size bed side rails for my bed frame, and they made a huge difference in both the stability and overall feel of my bed. Before adding these, my frame felt a little shaky and uneven, but once installed, everything felt solid and secure. The quality of the rails really stood out—they’re sturdy, well-built, and clearly designed to handle the weight of a king mattress without bending or shifting. That’s especially important since king beds need proper side and center support to prevent sagging over time . These rails delivered exactly that. Installation was also easier than I expected. They lined up well with my headboard and footboard, and once everything was in place, there was no squeaking or movement. I’ve noticed a big improvement in how comfortable the bed feels—no more creaking or worrying about the frame shifting during the night. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. If you’re looking to reinforce your bed frame or replace old rails, these are definitely worth it. They’re durable, reliable, and make your bed feel like a completely upgraded setup.. Anonymous. We really appreciate that the bed pieces are all wood. No particleboard at all! It took a while to put together, so we would say to allow extra time before someone needs to sleep on it. Be patient and you’ll have a great piece! Our wall studs did not match up to the suggested positions for the anchors, so we adapted that to our needs and used two extra anchors. The hydraulic arms are very strong, so you need to be careful with the construction to have someone hold the top vertical if opening the bed while under construction. Once the anchors are in place, the unit is absolutely solid and when a mattress is added, the pressure from those pieces do exactly what they should - allowing the bed to lowered and raised smoothly and safely . Great bargain. Enjoy!. Anonymous. Tue Jun 17 2025

Great bed, but be patient while assembling. Take your time. Youll definitely need more than 1 person. Another reviewer said to make sure you assemble in the room you want the bed... he was right. The packages arrived beat up. Thankfully there was no damage. Regarding the bed itself, the horizontal opening seems safereasier to open for a shorter person. The only challenge is stopping midway down to unfold the feet. I also wish there were more than 5 slats under the mattress. We added a few more, ourselves. Just to make sure it had more support. Otherwise no complaints.. Barbara. New York, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026

Did take a while to put together, but was able to do it by myself. Got this for a guest bed in the office that only gets used sporadically. For a mattress we are using a Sleep Number C4 bed we just upgraded from in the bedroom. This cabinet was perfect as it had the solid base a Sleep Number requires and the entire bed, mattress pad, pillows, and comforter ALL fit inside the cabinet and drawer. I did have to drill a small hole in the bed base near the head off the bed for the air tube and another in the back board to plug in the air pump, but both are in places not visible with the bed open or closed. We contemplated a traditional Murphy bed, but they seem to need the weight of a mattress to help hold them open? And they lacked storage space for all the other bedding to make up the bed. Since storage space is always in short supply, this bed seemed a better fit for our needs. I only gave 4 stars for some minor gripes. First are the stickers used to cover the cam locks. Wow is that cheesy. Most furniture I have put together using cam locks have a plastic disc that goes into the cam lock hole. However, the only place these are visible are the inside of the headboard when the bed is open. I would have appreciated plastic caps for this area vs the stickers. My only other complaint is about the cam locks themselves. Other furniture I have put together (including the glass door cabinet next to the bed chest in the photo) had a stop so you can't insert the screwdriver too far and potentially run into the cam lock pin when turning the cam lock. I am not sure if this is what kept happening, but I did have a few cam locks where I just could not get them to turn as far as they should have. Will call this one user error, but with a properly designed cam lock this isn't an issue. Like I said, pretty minor, and overall very pleased with the bed for what we needed. It is also really easy to open and set up as I had to do that half a dozen times or so figuring out how to get the Sleep Number air pump connected and the holes drilled.. Cheran. Lakeview, OR. This Murphy bed can be folded away into a cabinet to open up floor space in any room. Equipped with spacious storage cabinets and shelves on both sides, this bed provides unparalleled storage capacity. The open storage area includes built-in USB Ports help charge your devices. The mattress support uses flexible slats that follow the curves of the body and absorb pressure — mattress is not included, and the bed is not made to be used with a box spring. The hide away bed is easy to use, simply pull on the handles and flip the support leg down onto the floor. Safety & Installation Notice: Read the manual before assembly. Each step includes a video and important notes. Professional assemble suggested. Mattress must weigh at least 80 lbs. Suggest Mattress Thickness : 8 inch-10inch.Mattress not included. Installation requires secure to wood studs or masonry. Anti-tip hardware for brick/concrete walls is included. Have one person hold or sit on the empty bed frame when installing the hydraulic system to prevent pinch injuries. Please do not remove the iron straps compressing the hydraulic rods until you attach them to the body. Removing it early will cause the rod too long to fit into the predrilled hole.

This is such a great product, if you never put a Murphy bed together, get someone to help you, it’s definitely not for the faint of heart, it’s a two person job and it would take some hours But its worth it.. Zm. Miami Beach, FL. Wed Sep 23 2026
