Love this! I love that it's made out of thick plastic because then you can keep it outside without worrying about it getting rusty. I can't tell you how many metal ones I have gotten rid of because of that. This lantern is well made, nice color gray that can go with any decor in your home. It would look great near a fireplace. It takes 3 "D" batteries, great height, and you can set the candles on a timer or leave them on for the amount of time you want. The candles let off a good amount of light to be used as a night light in a hallway when guests come, so they don't get hurt. Once you get this home, you will love it and look for places to put it. Oh so nice! Better than expected. Well packaged and quick delivery. Two C cell batteries and viola, there is light. One of the cool things is the door opens and you could decorate for the room you place it in, or the season of the year. Love the look & design of the outdoor light the most! It matches my new outdoor furniture perfectly. The weaving pattern & color. It’s very substantial, a great weight & height. Nothing to build, so that came easy. Just have to take it out of the box & find where it should go. I left it outside all day long & the light was still on the next day around 5am or so. It really does work well! If you live in windy environments I would suggest placing it near something or moving it around during a heavier storm. All in all- love it!
