This is not your ordinary laundry hamper. It is made from real bamboo and is such a rich brown color. My husband just loves it. It is very well made, the inner cloth liner fits snugly over thr edge and the band of bamboo holds it on so nicely. You dont even see the cloth liner when the lid is closed. I really like the lid lifting up and it stays up. It is not flimsy at all. It was very easy to put together. I would say 5 minutes is all it took.
