It's beautiful. It's perfect for tea for one. The cup is a really nice size and holds 12 oz. (full), and the teapot holds 16 oz. I am a total tea drinker, so I would make hot water, one for the cup and one for the pot, using a bag for each. (If you just want one cup, this will do very nicely, and you can get two 8 oz. cups from the pot alone.) This was purchased at half of the higher end price I have seen. Truly thrilled.. Jillian.
