I know the website says polyester blend but I thought all items likes this are supposed to have tags identifying such items. Just seems odd. This is the best I've found to protect from my hounds. Is it really "non-slip"? Not really, but it holds on better than most under a dog that likes to roll around on my couch. The slipcover itself is made out of good material and it feels really nice but there is some sagging and loose parts that I find frustrating. Unlike the couch, it did not come with straps to help secure it into place. So I ended up using tack on the underside.
