This seems kinda shaky with chickpeas and harder things like nuts or dates but does the trick and grinds them very well. Though it is VERY loud (not sure if food processors usually are?). The size of this is just what I wanted. It's perfect for making bigger batches of things. I recommend! Only gave it 4 stars because it's a bit freaky when this thing shook while I was grinding up the nuts and dates to make energy balls (even with me holding onto the top!). Anonymous. Fantastic! I made peach/ pineapple ice cream and also strawberry ice cream with it. Way less messy than with a mixer. Also, this product does not have weird groves on the inside of the plastic container where food can get trapped and leave a residue. And the lid is sealed/ one piece and does not trap water inside. I used to have one with these problems and it left me concerned about having food poisoning or having soap suds become a part of my new cooking. Lid is easy to take off and put on.
