I love this pressure cooker pot so much. I had my first one since 2006 and my baby mess up one of the part on the lid when I laid it on the table after cleaning it, and from that day it never worked 100 % so I got me this new one as a Christmas gift. They served forever if handled with care. So after after 14 years am just replacing it. These new ones are a bit thinner steel though. I wanted a smaller one since family downsized to just me and my husband. I found on Wayfair the same Presto I've had since 2002 that my mother gave me as a gift. I've been regularly using my old pressure cooking and still works perfect, easy to use, safe and food comes out tender for a delicious. As a puertorican, we make pasteles a lot and they have to boil for a long time ok n a regular pot. With my Presto I cut time to less than half.
