Perfect size sandbox for my 4 1/2 year old! Easy to put together myself but make sure each piece perfectly aligns, much like a puzzle. I used (10) 50 lb bags of sand. The cover is not anything to write home about... First rain and cover/sandbox was full of water. Great sandbox! My kids ❤️❤️ it! It took less than an hour to put together-very simple and clear instructions. We only filled with 500lbs of sand to start but it seems to be enough. It was easy to find sand at our local hardware store for just a few s a bag. We specifically bought this sandbox because it also came with a cover. Where we live it tends to have gusty winds, lots of humidity and occasional rain. Cover works great!
