I love these. For some reason I expected all the big plates to be one color and all the small bowls to be a different color and so on, but all four item types have one of every color shown (one creamy mocha/dried earth, one terracotta, one faded denim, one almond milk). The wide mouth bowl wasn't as wide as I'd expected, which was a relief; i wanted to be able to find everyday uses for both bowls, and I have. The colors that appeared on my computer monitor on the site were true to the reality before me, but since everyone's monitor, settings, and eyes are a little different there's always room for someone else to not have as lovely as experience. I've attached pictures with many props to try to lend a three dimensional idea of the sizes and shapes. The obvious prop is silverware, but sadly I don't own any and so could not include them as helpful references. I've given these a few hard smacks on accident since getting them a couple weeks ago and there's been no chipping or otherwise noticeable damage. The downside is that my plates especially arrived with several scratches. It's clear everything was packaged up very carefully, and I appreciated that everything except some plastic feet on the inside of the box was recyclable, but the scrapes are sad.. Sam Danger. My husband and I love this dinnerware set! They are a perfect mix of rustic and chic for our log home. This dining set is exceptionally beautiful and seems to be resistant to scratches. After 3 months of use, however, 2 small bowls have gotten chipped. I don't know how it happened, but small chip are eventually to be expected. The problem is, since the glaze is very dark, the white stoneware exposed underneath really stands out and is extremely noticeable. I am OBSESSED with this dinnerware set. The colors are GORGEOUS. Over time some pieces have chipped off, but I am STILL giving this product 5 stars because you literally cannot avoid that given that we use these dishes every single day, put them in the dishwasher and they are ceramic. You would pay WAY more for this product anywhere else! Even if all our dishes were to break magically I would still buy this set again. BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE! The new Bronze Age! This is a set of service for four. Each place setting includes a dinner plate, a salad/bread/dessert plate, a bowl, and a mug. The set came well packed in a box and there was no damage to any of the pieces despite the exterior shipping box looking a little battered. These dishes are solid and on the heavier side, which I personally prefer. The colors and finish are what make this design stand out. It’s a beautiful pale robin’s egg blue crackle finish with a dark brown/bronze edge. The most eye-catching feature is the metallic bronze finish on the exterior of the bowl and mug. My pictures don’t show this well but the item photo on Wayfair captures it well. The information states that these are dishwasher safe but I’ve only hand washed them so far so I can’t speak to how the finish fares after being run through the dishwasher. The sizes and shapes of this set are part of the reason I chose it. The colors are great but if the dishes aren’t functional it would never get used. These will definitely be used! The plates are the perfect size and the bowl is great for soup, cereal, salad or whatever else you need -not so shalllw that’s it doesn’t hold any quantity but not so large that it’s overwhelming. The mug is a true mug, comfortable to grip and holds a true dose of coffee or tea, unlike some of those small, dainty little cups you see with a lot of sets. This is everyday use and I’ve receved several compliments on it already.
