Certified to NSF/ANSI 58, the RCC7AK water filter is a multi-layered reverse osmosis system under a sink that provides optimal protection against over 1,000 different types of contaminants, removing up to 99% of rust, sediment, taste, arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, hormones, fluoride, lead (up to 98%), mercury, sodium, and more. This is our second iSpring RO system and thoroughly enjoy the quality. Our main system is a 500GPD system with a booster pump, which delivers a higher pressure than this model. However, this model (installed in our basement) works great for lower usages scenarios. If you have great water pressure, it will work amazing. If you have low water pressure, I would suggest a model with a booster pump. I use an alkaline filter downstream of this RO model and the well water tastes amazing. The tank is fine quality and helps leverage your water pressure with sudden large usages. ISpring is a great company that makes top tier filtration systems. A decent product and the water tastes good. I have well water and I needed this system. It was not difficult to install just very specific. I installed the system on my own but it may go quicker with two people. I had to install a new kitchen faucet, as I would lose the sprayer to make room for the fresh water faucet with the system.
