These door knobs are perfect. I had the original crystal door knobs throughout my house from the 1920’s and none of them actually functioned since I bought the house. I wanted to go back with crystal knobs but the way they build them nowadays all I’ve read were reviews about the crystals becoming unglued and not having a set screw. After plenty of researching I found the best avenue for me was to get these satin knobs ( even though retrofitting the old internals for modern ones was a project in itself). I must say these brushed satin knobs look amazing ( especially on white doors). I searched far and wide for the right door knobs that topped off a year plus renovation project and I am very pleased with these. The shape is interesting and a nice change from the usual while still being comfortable in the hand. Great quality which was not a surprise as Schlage is well-known in the industry. Ordered several as we are in process or remodeling. Although competitive pricing relative to buying from big box stores. A few knobs screw holes were not aligned with the brass hardware. Some I was able to make work by pushing screws last, but one was not fixable (picture attached). The others look great and have replaced all knobs in my house. Very happy with quality and movement when turning knobs. Feels well made vs older, cheaper knobs that we had prior. Even with pain of screw holes not aligning, I would still recommend.
