The nuggets from each machine are different- depends on how much use the machine gets, how clean the machine is, many different things even down to how much air is in the nugget. Once I found the perfect one I settle in. Making friends and visiting my favorite spot daily cooler and cups in hand, driving past 3 places to head to my favorite spot. I like the soft chewy cloudy nuggets. I say all that to tell you **** after years of trying different machines and reading millions of reviews I bought it THE GE OPAL 2.0 Nugget ice maker IS THE REAL DEAL it has changed my life!! I have 44 oz cups fill them and fridge them they stay chewable for hours not sure how many because they don’t make it that long I don’t freeze my ice it changes the consistency and it’s too hard to chew.
