So far so good I feel that the material looks and feels expensive! There was no mention that the Ottoman had storage, but it does so I was so pleasantly surprised. Yes the couch is firm, but not in a way that I feel is uncomfortable or hard. I am hoping that it will get more soft as time goes on which naturally should happen with these types of cushions. The brown color is more like a sand color and blends really nicely with our light gray walls, giving the room a more warm feeling than our previous black pleather sectional. We usually don’t allow our dogs on the furniture and our kids are all grown, but we shall see how it holds up with our grandkids over the years! Before, i had a reclining leather couch that my husky/GSD mix and two pugs sat with me on and my huge GSD had his own matching leather recliner, but I felt bad that he had to be separate.
