Great rustic and unique tile. I think the results were great. Note The dimensional tolerance in all axes was large and some of the tiles were not even square. You will spend 3 times as much time surveying, sorting and modifying etc. to get your intended results compared to other products. The material is soft enough to shavesplit where too high. There were also a fair number of damaged or unusable pieces so if recommend ordering 20-30 extra, which unfortunately brings the price on par with similar looking porcelain tiles. Matt. These came just as expected! The quality is great, and I love that they are calibrated and of equal depth, yet provide just enough texture that you want from natural slate...the calibration is a huge deal, because it makes for much easier installation work! We used this in our bathroom and adjacent mudroom redo. We cut the tiles in half, so they were 6"x12" and laid them down in a herringbone pattern. It's exactly what I was looking for. Update. Very glad we bought 2 extra boxes because by the time we had finally opened all the boxes there was about 1 whole box worth of broken tiles. Not all the tiles are cut the same size either the 16x24 ones were all smaller so that messed up the pattern. It took us a couple boxes before we finally figured out what was going on. We tried for a grout less look but ended up buying a non sanded black grout and it worked beautifully. I am back to loving my floors. We also put a Matte sealant. I love it! Will be putting a sealant on the stone because it is raw stone bit can not wait to put it down. You can see the textures and it is exactly what I wanted. We paid the extra money to have it brought into the house and it was the best 19.99 I ever spent. 90sf was about 500 pounds. Will circle back and upmost photos when it’s installed. . Christine. Good product. You don't get as many of the brown slate tiles in it as appears in the picture but it worked for our small project. We had to replace a French door with a slider and tear up the floor in front of it because it had rotted from a leak. Not having enough of our laminate wood floor left we decided to put down slate because we have slate in other rooms in our home. You get about 6pieces of slate in a box with this purchase. I had hoped for more of the brown tones but there were really only 2 pieces that had brown in them. One more than the other. Once you seal the slate with a glossy sealer the colors will come out more. it is a true 16" size. Most of the pieces were very level something that you have to be careful with slate as it can be irregular. Love the product. Very nice.
