The packaging was great. However, the items had many scratches and chippings. The wood or the engineered wood is pretty cheap and I wish they had used better material. Looks exactly as it does online.. can’t wait to put up on my wall!! Update Finally installed the panels. They are super cute but definitely had to make a few adjustments. Had to cut a few of the panels because they were too big. Additionally, all the panels would not perfectly align therefore I had to use caulking to help close the gaps. I used white caulk because the panels can not be painted. When pasting the panels to the wall I used gorilla construction adhesive and it worked great! I've been looking for well over a year for a product like this that would be easy to work with, thick enough to hide some wall flaws, but thin enough to be able to work with behind my pedestal sink and not have too much of a profile against my trim. I am so happy I found this product! I am a relatively advanced DIYer, but even a beginner could use this and get beautiful results. It cuts easily with a box knife or scissors and is lightweight; just remember to measure twice and cut once CAREFULLY. The planks have plenty of variability in color and grain, as well as a convincing texture. While they acclimated I separated the planks first into three piles based on how much character each one has. I also cut some of them to different lengths and was able to create a nice, random pattern that looks very realistic. I had minimal waste, and all of the planks arrived in excellent shape with no damage to the corners or edges as you will often find with these kinds of products. This self-adhesive wall tile is also an economical wall covering material; if you are getting tiled of the same design, peel them off and change to a new style. The item is lightweight and easy to handle, cut, and maintain; it will remain on your walls for as long as you wish. The product can also be installed directly over existing panels or smooth surfaces. The tiles are fire-retardant but can be deformed by excessive heat (176℉degrees Fahrenheit). The tiles can be installed above or behind most stoves. Keep direct heat sources - toaster ovens, cooking burners, etc., at least 12 inches from the backsplash panel's surface.
