I go through cutting mats so quickly and it really takes a toll on my budget. I was looking for something more durable and could withstand multiple slices and cuts and still hold up for future projects! I got the 36x48 mat, the largest that is available and I tell you I am so glad I did! It's large enough I can lay it out on the entire work table and have plenty of usable space to layout and cut multiple pieces of vinyl at one time! It's thicker material and very durable, when I slice through you can't even see the slices on the mat. It’s really a pretty cutting board. I wish I had gotten one that is wider, though. I use it with my Henckles knives and you need a lot of room when you are using the chef knives.
