Well made super comfortable queen size sleeper sofa! I’m a 66 year old woman with a history of back problems, I managed to assemble this myself with minimal trouble... it’s a lot heavier than some of the reviews had led me to believe, but I got the job done in less and than an hour (including unboxing sliding it down the hall into the spare room using felt wood floor sliders) The back folds down flat easily without having to pull out the couch more than a few inches from the wall, and the only minor “con” I can think of I wish there was a mid-reclining option between the single one provided and the uprightflat position it’s a wee bit TOO inclined for my taste, but nothing a few throw pillows can’t remedy. Big plus I have long legs like the deep seat cushions on the couch, and the pop up trundle makes a fantastic lounger! ) The queen mattress is REALLY FIRM, so I bought a thick fluffy mattress cover to cushion it a bit for guests one side is cotton for summer, and the other is faux-wool plush for winter, which should make this the world’s most comfortable guest bed - EVER! The photos show the space behind the sofa in the reclining upright positions (the one with my little dog, Fergie, is of the sofa in the reclining position) The space in back of the sofa isn’t noticeable from the front, and actually leaves room for curtains to hang nicely. Finally, to add a cozy touch ( keep off pet hairs), I threw on an easy-to-wash cotton bedspread — there are so many different looksoptions for this wonderful sofa bed.... This bed is a great size for my 70lb dog and looks so comfy. She seems to love it. Unfortunately after just 2 months the seams are separating. No tears, just separating seams in three different places. My dog is not rough on furniture so there’s been no biting or pulling. Also, to clean, you can zip out the egg crate base of the bed but the bolster portion is stuffed with loose polyester stuffing. You can access this space via a small 10” zipper. Need to look up how you’d wash this. Do they expect you to pull out all the stuffing? Then restuff it? Kind of large to put in your standard washer with all the stuffing in place. But first I’d need to sew up all the separated seams. I’ll reach out to customer service but I’m told the window for return has closed. UPDATE: After as lengthy hold on the phone, I spoke to a lovely representative by the name of Helen. I emailed the same pictures to her and she refunded my $76.00.
