10” thick mattresses of good quality are hard to find especially in local stores. Serta came through on this one. Definitely not too soft. May add a topper later. Wanted a 10” to keep the height down since our platform bed is already 16” high and we really don’t care for high beds. And it’s light enough that we can rotate it ourselves.. Anonymous. Crafted with a solid hardwood frame and legs for rock-solid support, it features Serta® Dream Coils, plush high-density foam, and a soft, cozy chenille fabric that invites you to sink in. Fingerguard Pinch Point Protection adds a smart layer of safety to the smooth back mechanism. Whether it’s for lounging, hosting, or catching some serious Zzzs, this sleeper’s got you covered.

Purchased this sofa bed for our guest room/office. Compact and fits nicely in our space. Color is a bluish gray. Easy to pull out and I like that there are no metal bars exposed. Bed is a bit on the firm side, but will be great with a mattress pad topper. Just wished the back cushions were a little more stuffed, fabric tends to ripple slightly. But overall, great sofa bed for the price.. Scott. CA. Tue Oct 06 2026

Meet the Stearns & Foster Luca 83 in. Queen Sleeper Sofa with 8in Pocket Coil Mattress, Beige! Featuring beautiful Beige upholstery, split back cushions, and contrasting wooden legs - The Luca is a contemporary masterpiece. Hidden beneath, you'll find an 8" pocket coil mattress that can be revealed easily to accommodate overnight guests. You'll also find comfort in its sofa form as its spring, fabric, and foam seating provides optimal comfort. In addition, pine wood and plywood make up a solid and durable frame for ultimate support.

I purchased this sleep sofa for my family room. If I need an extra sleep space for guests, this is what I selected. My number 1 reason for selecting this sofa is because it’s from Stearns Foster. I already own a mattress from them and have been extremely satisfied with the quality and comfort. I purposely sought out Stearns Foster to see if they even offered sleep sofas. I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. For anyone who struggles to stand up from a sitting position, this sofa does make it easier to get up. Overall quality is excellent!. Gayle. Maine. Thu Aug 28 2025

Sealy was among the first to create the hybrid, pairing the best qualities of innerspring and memory foam mattresses to deliver best-of-both-worlds comfort. I was previously unaware of the concept of a mattress in a box. Upon visiting the Wayfair store, I had the opportunity to examine the mattress, having seen it advertised online. We proceeded to order it through the website due to the complimentary delivery service. It subsequently arrived packaged within a box. ItIt was quite heavy, so you will require assistance from another person to move it to its intended location. We have unraveled it, and as less than 24 hours have passed since then, this is its current appearance. Therefore, I will likely wait another 24 hours before placing it on the bed to ensure it has reached its maximum fullness. However, considering the price, we are quite satisfied with the purchase so far, and I will likely provide a follow-up review later.. Sabrina. Atlanta, GA. Sat Sep 12 2026

I loved that I received the item within 24 hours. Unfortunately, upon receipt of the item, the bottom of the box was opened. Also the mattress is not cut true to size. Good support in a low profile. We also have a narrow stairway as our home is built on pilings so we wouldnt have gotten a one piece king box spring up the stairs regardless, so we were excited to see this option.. Dan. MI. Sat Sep 12 2026
