I was extremely apprehensive about buying an office chair online. I researched, I think, ALL "big and tall" chairs online. I was nervous about the gray side panels making the chair finish appear cheap, however the coordination of the aluminum metal trim color and the gray side panels is very nice. The detail on the five legs is very nice. The wheels are smooth and solid. There's some assembly required, but there usually is with all office chairs. I was also concerned that the leather was bonded instead of top grain - I was concerned about it "rubbing off" as I've seen in pictures of bonded leather. The quality of the leather, however, is very nice...smooth....with a feeling of quality. The chair is very attractive, but WOW, even so much more comfortable!! I actually assembled the chair - replacing a 10 year old top grain black leather "big and tall" office chair, sat in the chair, tilted back, put my feet up and actually fell asleep within a few minutes!! The lumbar support is amazing and the base seat feels solid, sturdy but it gives with the memory foam and coil springs. I'm actually delighted with this chair. I'm 6'3" 330lbs and this chair feels extremely solid and amazingly comfortable even for someone my size. UPDATE 6 months of 10/hrs/day weekday use - The arms have become "wobbly" twice. This takes away from the solid feel of the chair. I finally used to allen/hex wrench to tighten them - 100% solid again - the arms aren't "worn out" - they just loosen with use. However, the chair is still AMAZING!! SOOO comfortable - a complete luxury. I've read complaints about no support under the knees. This is what "waterfall" seating is about. Chairs without it decrease circulation in the legs. The chair is deep (I'm 6'3") and doesn't feel "shallow" at all. I think waterfall seating might be a new feel for some - but the health benefits are worth it. After 6 months of heavy use by a heavy guy, the chair is as good as new. A real luxury. I can't recommend this chair enough. (And no, I don't work for Serta or any other furniture company!!) Buy this chair!! Pros: Solid, high quality, beautiful...classic and modern at the same time. I sit in front of a computer for several hours a day. This chair is super comfortable and I am very happy with my purchase. The chair is for a big and tall person so keep that in mind. The seat in this chair is awesome! It’s really comfortable to sit for long work hours. The recline feature is also phenomenal to sit back and relax with feet up. Assembly was a little tricky. One set of screw holes had been covered by the under seat protective dust cloth., so it looked like the pre-drilled holes had been forgotten. And attaching the seat to the back is a two person job. The only (major) problem with the chair is there is no lumbar support adjustment and the factory setting is too low. For me, I don’t sit in the chair at the proper angle where my back touches the chair. I was able to correct this with a Purple lumbar cushion, but the chair is so large that the strap doesn’t fit around it. I love the chair and all the hard work to assemble it was worth it. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it feels, especially on my lower back. Also I must note how easily the assembling of it was!! The tension knob helps to control that easily, and the flip up/down lever on the left side of the chair makes for easy lean back action. What's nice is I can lock it in the non-lean back position or release it, both by use of the lever. It has very solid cushioning in the lower seat, which was a huge upgrade from a previous chair I owned prior to this one. My wife and I are very satisfied with the purchasing of this product!.
