Purchased two of these to serve as mudroom storage after custom built in and Lowe's standard cabinet options came in at 3k to 4k. We selected these over others based on the solid wood construction. I would say it is worth the additional cost, as the stain finish and veneer are convinving, not great but better than the laminate picture of wood many other options use. Soft close doors are a nice touch. We put cushions on the drawers to soften their close. It is sturdy and the tolerances were spot on, amazing feet in my opinion. Assembly of the first one took 4 hours, the scone one took 3. The trick to the doors is too slide the hinge out as far as permitted before staring door hanging, and use two people. Concealed hinges with soft close built-in ensure the door will never slam shut, but softly close on its own instead. The box is solid pine and the Shaker-style door is solid maple. We’ve painted the inside of the box white, so you don’t have to! The door is primed and ready for you to paint it. The box is 3.5” deep inside and gives you plenty of usable depth, but fits in standard 2x4 walls. This model has two doors that open to reveal two separate cabinet sections. The Cabinet box is 12.5" wide inside. Doors are reversible to open either Left or Right. Completely assembled! All you need to do is put one screw in each hinge to mount the door. Then insert it into the wall and screw it to the studs with included screws. If you are replacing a current cabinet, measure your wall opening! White plastic trim surround covers the rough edges of your opening up to 1/2" all around. Doors cover the trim surround when closed so the only thing you see outside the wall is the doors. Very good cabinet. Super easy to install. Came pretty much preassembled. There were two sections of the white cabinet part and then you have to put the doors on after the two cabinets are installed. There are 8 long screws that go into the studs. And 4 short screws in the middle that attach the two units together. Make sure your studs are 14” apart or 16” on center or this won’t fit. It was already a tight squeeze for the 14”. You just cut a rectangle in your drywall and the cabinet comes with a border to hide the raw edge. I had to get an extra board and then put it over the cabinet to hammer it in the rest of the way bc it was so tight for me. It didn’t ruin the cabinet. Just needed a little more force to push it in. Comes with 5 glass shelves. The hinges are high quality and are also slow close. They are adjustable for all angles for your needs. The gray color is just primer and will need to be painted. arrived in 3 days. 2 boxes. I would agree to assemble in room where it is going to go. Directions were not hard hard to follow. I was surprised due to the size. It is time consuming due to the size. The doors went better than expected. They did need adjusted at the end. I was just very surprised how everything lined up as I started to assemble. I did 2 of these. I do recommend. The doors do take 2 people as directions say. The first one took me about 5 hours as I went slow to make sure. 2nd one I did in 3 1/2 hours. So not hard but time consuming and looks great when done.
