Update The blanket stopped working after two months. My daughter received this for Christmas. So far it warms up nicely. And feels very nice and soft. She did appear to get a burn on her lower leg the first night she had it. I have been watching and making sure it’s being used correctly and that it isn’t a product issue.. Anonymous. I love this electric blanket. The Sherpa is super soft and the other side is super soft too. I love that it has 10 settings for the perfect coziness! I replaced the one I have now because it was old, 4 years and I was worried I was pressing my luck as they usually last about a year or two. I wash it in the washer with gentle soap and gentle cycle-NO liquid softener. I dry it in the dryer on medium for 10-15 minute with 12 Downy Calm Dryer Sheet for smell and softness.
