As with all of our Homestyle tables, the playfield is a hardwood solid butcher block that is 15" wide, 1.75" thick, and one foot less than the overall length of the shuffleboard in question. When comparing manufacturers, make sure to look for a 1.75" thick playfield, as the extra depth looks better in the cradle and feels better on the hand when setting a puck. All Georgetown models are hand-stained real wood laminate with a solid plywood framing structure. There is in-leg storage, abacus bead scoring, speed wax, and 8 deluxe pucks. 9' and 12' tables have two legs and 14' and 16' have three legs.

The table is awesome! Some of the pre drilled holes were misaligned and without modification prevented putting the legs on properly. Would have rated five stars if pieces were all aligned and didn’t need to make modifications. Wayfair customer service was excellent. This is a really nice, well built item. It’s nice looking and very, very sturdy. That being said if you are not handy with tools you might want to invite a few handy friends over to help you assemble it. First, you will need 2-3 healthy adults just to move the box to the area you want it, unpack it carefully there’s lots of styrofoam packing material inside. You will also need a drill with some small drill bits since the only predrilled holes are for the “climate adjustment “ bars on the bottom. You assemble it upside down so when you’re finished you will need those same 3 adults to turn it on it’s side and lift it into position. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of a 5 is because one of the leg shelves couldn’t be put on due to the leg being assembled incorrectly and the slots for it not being on the same side. This doesn’t hamper the use of the table but it brings into question the factory’s quality control. I won’t bother asking for a replacement leg because I have no intention of flipping this thing over again! It took us about 3 hours to put it together and even without the predrilled holes (I drilled my own) It wasn’t complicated to do. So far so good!! We love it. It came in on time and not damaged. The lights work great (they are super bright from a distance, but great when you are playing). The only bad part was the setup as it is so heavy (over 200 lbs) and the darn score piece was so hard to install (stripped screws, etc). Definitely pre-drill for those! Love this table. It’s extremely, extremely heavy, the top is shipped as one piece and was really difficult to get upstairs. Assembly was simple. The table does have adjusters for leveling, but you need a few strong people to help you lift it repeatedly to get this right. It has also taken some trial and error to get the surface right for playing, we have used cleaning techniques, spray on silicone, and a few different sands and still don’t have it perfect but that’s probably user error!.
