Update: This speedball arcade game is so much fun and really cool looking!!! It is heavy and of really good quality. Love the blue LED light on it... you can play in the dark and the whole thing basically glows blue! This is really long at 8 feet! So we set it up and put it in our garage. The entire family is loving this..including our little, almost, 5 year old! I was worried at first that the balls would be extremely heavy like how they are at some arcade spots but these balls are made of rubber and aren't heavy at all but have enough weight to roll and score properly. One of the four balls was wobbly and not round, probably because of it being in the box. There's an option for one or two players with an electronic scoreboard. Click on the select button to turn on and then click again for one player or another time for 2 players and hit the button below to confirm your selection. Each player gets 9 turns with fun arcade sounds for points and cheering/applause for a high score/ winner. I did notice though that when you score at the 100 pt mark the ball sometimes gets stuck inside the gap between the back board and the return plate. We have to stick our arm carefully into one of the holes to let it roll out back to the return plate. We will have to open the back up to take a look to see why it's doing that. I think we may need to put the plate a little higher. It took my husband and I about 3.5 hours to assemble. Instructions were clearly written and each piece and hardware were labeled properly. Try out the power before putting on the back plate- make sure the wiring is connected the right way. The Wayfair Delivery team was great as usual! It was so easy to reschedule the large delivery date all on Wayfair's website as well! I was able to see available dates and times! So convenient! The team who came to deliver called 30 mins prior and were extra careful with the heavy package. They brought the truck to the back to put the box in the garage exactly where I wanted it! Both delivery men were very nice and professional! Overall, this speedball arcade is well worth it- a lot fun for the entire family. Just in time to keep the kids busy this summer! I’m not going to sugar coat it. The machine arrives flat packed in A LOT of pieces to put together, the stickers labeling the screw bags fell off, and it took us almost 5 hours to put together (2 person minimum is a must)...But it’s totally super awesome!! I have to say I'm pretty impress with the entire experience. Wayfair was great, delivery was great and then cam the build. I built this unit myself, not rushing at all it took 4-1/2 to 5 hours. Not a difficult build if you just pay attention to what your doing. The packaging of this unit was outstanding and they really package them to prevent damage.... just getting into the box is a chore. Every hole lined up correctly and the build went without any issues. Family is loving this game. Highly recommended. Even the dogs love it, they keep trying to get the balls and trying to figure out where the balls are going. Just a last minute note, the ball return is somewhat of a problem with the balls getting stuck, a temporary fix was simply to use duct tape where the channel meets the board.... at least until I can take the unit apart and do a permanent fix.. Okay...just put this table together last night. I did it by myself, but at one time I needed help from my husband to lift the headboard piece into the main frame. But, other than that, you really only need one person to assemble. Overall, this is a really nice table. It feels very solid and is quite heavy when assembled. My only beef is that the scoring mechanism didn't work after I got it all put together. The lights worked, the sound worked, but each time a ball entered the hole, it would not score your points. Also, the instruction manual was quite vague in several steps. The entire booklet was pictures only with no worded help. I had to go to Wayfair.com and actually look at the pictures they had on-line to clarify what I was supposed to do. The key is patience. Don't get in a hurry or you'll be taking screws out and putting them back in again multiple times. Of course, that was my fault. Let me just start by saying this game is fun to play and we do enjoy it. That's why it got 3 stars instead of 2 or 1. Now the issues we had for starters putting it together was a lot but not hard except the parts were missing 3 of the "pre assembled" screw pieces on the front end leg parts. I had a party the next day and didn't want a half assembled game so I replaced them with the ones in the last step of assembly that hold the score board. Pictures are included of both locations. Now I am handy so this was easy and I was able to secure the score board piece with some extra screws I had in my tool box. So it's assembled now and working great but... The aesthetic is black and the composite board they made it our of does not line up in several places. So brand new it looks like it's been worn in a few years with the way things didn't really line up. If I knew this before buying it probably would have gone with the wood colored machine instead so it wouldn't be blatantly noticeable. Pictures of this are also included. The assembly was a challenge!!!! It was very difficult to get pieces to line up properly. There is a gap between the back wall and ball landing platform, we added part of a pool noodle in hope that balls would not get stuck as much. There are also cosmetic imperfections. They dont affect the game play. I have wanted a roll and score game for quite a while, even with the issues we still love it and playing. Also appreciate that it has the 100 point circles.
