This was installed during my bathroom renovation about a year ago. I try to squeegee the doors after use, but they still develop water marks easily, which is probably typical for shower doors. Beautiful doors but the gold color is much darker in person than in the picture. Didnt match exactly with other fixtures, but it wasnt so dark that I will return it. But Im still upset that the color is deceiving. These doors do not close properly. There is a gap at each end where the door closes and at the bottom. Water leaks out easily. Disappointed with the design. For as much as I paid for these you would think they would close properly and have guards on the bottom to keep water from splashing out. Going to have to figure out a solution since there was no way of knowing this until the doors were installed. They were installed correctly by my contractor, I even witnessed him actually reading the instructions. The top piece the door slides into is very thick, and that is causing a big gap on each side. These shower doors are amazing and I saved a couple hundred dollars purchasing them here versus other places I considered purchasing shower doors from. These doors are not made cheap at all! Thick, quality glass, very heavy but rolls smoothly on the track. Definitely hire a contractor who has experience installing shower doors. It will save you the headache. Love this door. We installed on a 36x60 Dreamline shower pan. Only one issue is our lip was exactly 2 34 wide. And we didn’t install the door on edge. But actually dead center. We call the company Glassware and they were prompt to respond and explained what we needed to do. We opted to leave door. The glider is held by the stationary door. And we didn’t drill into shower pan to hold it. Which we prefer because we are worried potential future issued. Now by leaving it there we all choose not to use the water bar to stop water. We do not have water coming out. And again prefer not. To drill any holes in shower pan. I will try and take pictures so you can understand. In all case the door is solid. Beautiful and Im so pleased with it. And the level of service received from Glassware. Shopping online can be scary and time consuming. But Im grateful that this went smooth.. Catherine.
