We are renovating our kitchen and this wine cooler was the “perfect perk” to make it special. It arrived perfectly packed. We let it settle for 24 hours before sliding it into a cabinet on the side of the sink. It takes a full 34” height and 12” wide so it fits as it should and you can level it as needed. We had electric at this location but still had an electrician install a separate outlet (plug is a 3 prong plug). We set the cooler at 58 degrees and let it sit overnight. Once we had a constant 58 degree temp we put our wine in and set the temp as desired. Be sure to let your unit settle for 24 hours after shipping, move it carefully, level it, plug into a 3 prong outlet (no extension cords), set temp and let unit cool empty overnight and then fill it up!. As stated, this freestanding wine cooler holds 9 bottles of wine. The design allows for 7 bottles to lay on their side with 2 bottle standing upright facing the glass door. This is a very nice looking wine fridge. I wanted something smaller that will keep some bottles cool, but didn’t need a huge one that will hold tons of bottles. The issue I have is the width. The fridge is too narrow to fit two bottles side by side unless they are both very slim. Out of the five brands of wine we drink regularly, only two brands will fit next to each other- I have to stagger the others because the fridge is too narrow. That’s the only negative, but unfortunately for us it is a negative. I would go with something wider to allow the use of any bottles you choose.. Michael. TX. 2023-02-13 23:05:46
