This tabletop composter was a great idea by me before knowing that I had to have a whole system with a big barrel and holes etc. this is obviously my ignorance. So, you filll this thing up and then put it into that big barrel. But without the big barrel it kind of makes it difficult! Therefore I turned this table-top composter into my own personal desk trashcan. I think it’s great. Holds any odors well and it’s pretty roomy for what little space it takes up. I'm very pleased with this trashcan! It's easy to take apart and uses a standard plastic bag you would get at the grocery store. The edges of the bag are covered so it has clean lines and a modern look. The shell is shiny (which adds to the high end feel) and is easy to wipe clean. The plastic its made of is not super thick, but is very sturdy. The downward sloped lip makes sure all the trash falls in where it belongs.
