Sturdy, Cute, and functional. Came well packaged. It took me about 3.5hrs to assemble by myself. You can put it together in 1/2 the time if assembly is your gig. I left the towel rack off and eventually took the side shelf off, because my room is small and honestly I think it looks better. When the leaf is open, it created more counter top than I thought it would. The back is plain and could use some adhesive drawer/shelf liner, which I might do later. This table set is an incredible value for the price. I just moved into a studio apartment and I wanted something counter height that could double as more prep space and a table, plus not take up too much space. The solid wood feels very sturdy, and the assembly was easy. The stools do wobble a little bit but they didn't before I screwed in the cross bars - I think they just need some adjustment or some self-leveling felt pads on the feet. If this were a more expensive set that would knock it down to 4 stars, but I'm factoring in value too - I'm willing to tinker a bit to save some money. I was a little skeptical because this Kitchen Island was fairly inexpensive. I opted to pay to have it assembled and that was done today. I love it. It has as much space as i hoped since it was only 43" long and the cabinets and drawers are ample size to hold a lot of kitchen items. This is so much more useful than the table and chairs for two that I had there before. The Island is sturdy, attractive and versatile. The stools are very comfortable. My only complaint is that before ordering I called Wayfair customer service to find out if I could purchase the item but delay delivery. The person i spoke to assured me that as soon as I had a tracking number I could contact Fed Ex and reschedule. I got the tracking number too late to stop the delivery which came in two days instead of three as noted on the order. Most people would not complain about this but I had a flight the day of delivery; luckily it arrived before I had to leave for the airport.
