I had seen many negative reviews prior to buying. I have had this frig for one week, and I love it. The left door does close quickly when the ice maker is full, so just hold it a bit as it closes, it really is that simple. I am absolutely amazed at the space this model has. It has more room than any other counter depth frig I have owned. The craft ice maker is slow in making the beautiful round orbs, but certainly makes enough for several drinks a week The ONLY complaint I have is the door water/ice dispenser. It doesn't fit a very tall container and the panel that is pressed for dispensing, doesn't extend the whole way down. When filling short glasses you need to hold the glass up.
