These are heavier and sturdier than I expected them to be. I have not installed them yet, but the video makes it look simple. It was nice having it all in a kit. I'm not sure the price was any savings. I'm pretty sure it came to a bit more than I feel doing it a la carte would be, but, this way they supply the right stuff up front, so I'm good with it. Aside from shipping issues these tiles are great. They are strong and forgiving of less than desirable walls. Watch the videos and do exactly as they say and installation with be quick and smooth. I used these for my bathtub surround and being 68 doing it alone I was able to do it all myself. I did it in two days mostly because I was hesitant about doing it around the water lines. my plumbing hadn't been touched since at least the 50s and had longer bigger pipes than today. Cutting and drilling out the holes was never a problem. I will say though using a utility knife for anything other than trimming edges is difficult. Luckily I had a small table saw that worked great. Looks sleek and modern. We had contractors replacing our entire tubshower area, so we didn’t install it ourselves, but they commented that it was a nice tub and easy to install. For some reason, the drain and overflow accessories weren’t compatible with our plumbing system, so we had to swap those out, and I wish deer valley made it easier to find other options that are compatible not only with different plumbing but with different finishes. Tub was shipped and delivered quickly - way before the estimated delivery date. Tub arrived undamaged and seemed to be an easy install (per the plumber). The only reason I gave a 4 star review is the tub has a logo on the front that I didn't see on the photos. Excellent pressure from the JETS and the colors when the lights are on are absolutely amazing. They rotate colors and fill the room with the colorful accents. Candlelight makes the experience even more perfect. The armrests are perfectly poised for relaxation while you’re body pain pains are relieved. It was lightweight and the installers were able to get it set up fairly quickly. We believe it has added value to our home because it transformed that bathroom into a beautiful space.
