I couldn’t find any good sectionals for under 1k, so this was a good deal for us ! Took us about an hour to put together. The directions don’t clarify certain things (the pieces to anchor the inner sections together have multiple size holes directions don’t reflect what goes where). We did get one screw that was the wrong size but other that it was pretty straight forward. I’m sitting on it about 19 hours after setup and the cushions have almost doubled in size. It’s nice and firm but still soft enough for you to sink in. It did not have a smell or anything which is great. The chaise pieces slide around on our hardwood floor, but with some grippy tape on the bottoms of legs, they stay put. The legs are plastic but not cheap feeling. So far it’s wonderful and it’s BIG!! Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color. I’m pretty happy with this purchase, way less expensive than most of the mainstream ones. I took one star off for comfort and back height, it’s extremely low so you can’t sit in it like a regular couch unless you stack pillows against the wall. Definitely will meet the need for when I have extra guests. Can be slept on as a twin or folded out to a queen. Overall I’m happy with it.
