It was so easy for him lol Make sure you prepare the slip covers before you take the plastic off the pillows, because they deflate very rapidly. That is a mistake I made, I was so anxious to see what it would look like put together. It is a beautiful couch and it has held up from the tiny hands and feet of my great grandkids. If you want a beautiful, strong sofa, you can’t go wrong by purchasing this one. The only regret I have is that I purchased the cream and not the white. I didn’t expect to need to put it together but if I ever have to move, I could disassemble and move my gigantic couch by myself. it’s really firm and I love that the fabric can all be stripped and washed; especially since I have dogs. The couch itself is lovely. But when the men unwrapped it, it was absolutely filthy. There is not one panel that did not have some kind of stain or dirt. Worst part is, I think it’s grease in some areas because it rubbed on the wall and left a streak on the wall that only came out with magic eraser. All that being said. I had family visiting and I wanted to make my home office functional. Something that would not take a lot of space but something that could possibly sub as a bed. This pullout sofa works out lovely. I’m really happy with this couch and feel like it offers great value for the price. The assembly process was surprisingly simple and straightforward. One of my favorite features is the cushions. They are nice and firm, which gives the couch a more supportive feel than many sofas that tend to be overly soft and lose their shape quickly.
